    Weird circuit in my Warwick

    I have a really weird IC in my Warwick. Has anybody ever seen one of these? Any ideas on what it could be? Bigger photo, 3 MB This thing is hooked up on a set of J-type EMG's. Am I correct that EMG's don't need an extra IC, would it be better to get this thing out of my signal chain?

    Can I match SD pickups with EMG circuit ?

    Hi I want to change the preamp of my Thumb 6 Bo, I have EMG (3 pots) and SD preamp(4 pots), it's better no to put more hole on my bass so I would like to try EMG's first. The active SD PUsis 100k, the EMG is 25K, is it O.K. to match them together??
