bstring or saddle

My vette $$ 5 is about a month old and the strings are still factory mounted (according to my dealer). I had a closer look at the saddle today and I got confused. Hope you can help me calm down ..... The narrower part of the B-string is mounted over the saddle. Normal? The B-saddle also...
