besides tapered strings for my Thumb 5, what other options do I have? I can pinch the string at the saddle and stop piece so it will fit in both locations, but other than that....is there an upgraded bridge and tailpiece out there???? If so I wold but it in a heartbeat.

Although I do not own one of these beauties, I have a desperate desire 2 own 1. I have seen loads going cheap on e-bay (£350) but i have no money at the moment. I am seriously concurnd that they will stop going cheap and that I am going to have to fork out a ton for one or worse buy a ROCKBASS...
