Hey guys,
I was wondering, is it possible to upgrade the electronics of my Corvette $$ to 18V? If so how would that affect my sound?
I know that 18Vs generally give more headroom, but are there any other effects?
Also would you recommend it or should I keep my bass as it is?
I've figured out how to modify the electronics to run off 18v! I make wiring harnesses for this type of application, and it doesn't change your original wiring. I make these wiring harnesses and have researched this extinsevly. I have to say the tonal differences are night and day!

My bass currently has 18v on the battery compartment...

If I were to do this, would I simply just need to unplug one of the batteries and there would be no harm to the electronics?
thanks!

I have an active corvette std 5 that I had the EQ removed (since I don't use them at all... just passive vol-vol-tone setup all 25K...
