staining

Ok...either talk me outta it, or give me some ideas on the best way to do it... I have an Ash Corvette, natural ash finish. I'm getting slightly bored of it, its yellowing unevenly (very dark around edges, lighter in the middle etc) and going dark/greenish in places. So, time for a refinish...
