Considering these amps for practice and small venues. I'm looking for a rig that would be appropriate for playing and recording ambient, atmospheric jazz and rock. New, they're about the same price. The Genz-Benz has a bit more power. The Eden uses the 330T head. I have no first person...

I went to the music shop today - I've got a hole in my rockbag and I'm getting a new one. After talking about the bag I figured I hadn't been in the bass amp room for a while, so I went there. Things had changed in there since I took the W rig out. Ampeg stuff. Big eden 8x10. Aguilar stuff...

I have to say... for a lightweight amp with 600W and a 12" speaker... It just sounds PHAT. I used it last night at my weekly hip hop jam: PS - some of the MCs can be a little hit and miss... ;)
