has anyone ever noticed that as a Warwick ages the headstock starts to become a little gray? giving it an aged look? I personally love the way that looks, my $$ is starting to get there it looks that way in the right light, i hope it always looks like that soon.

Hello! I have just bought a Warwick Corvette Std. from january 1998, and I am proud to be a new member of the Warwick family! I have always played Fender, Hôfner and on occasion Danelectro and Gibson, but the Corvette really blows them all away with its phenomenal sound and craftsmanship! Wow...

There's been a lot of discussion in different bass forums about newer D-shaped necks vs older warwicks with a C-shape all-wenge neck. The custom shop can offer an all-wenge neck, but can someone order a bass with the older "slimmer" neck profile?

Anyone know of a site with pictures of older Warwicks? I would love to see some from the early '80's. Also some pictures of the original factory would be nice too.
