Hey! As some of you may know, I'm looking for a 3-band preamp for my Thumb bass. I'd preferably like it to be a MEC, but I'm looking at other options as well. What are people's experiences with Aguilar OBP-3 preamps in Warwicks (especially Thumb basses)?

Does anyone have this setup in their SSI? I just put the aguilar in my SSI and the low end seem to be really 'woofy' sounding. I am using the same setup as before when the mec preamp was in it, all flat on the eden. Do you think the Aguilar may be a bad match for the MEC pick ups?
