muffled or damped

    Muffled/damped string problem

    Hey folks, I've got a Rockbass Streamer 4-string, and even with a totally new set of strings fitted an open E sounds as if I've muted it. I can't see anything wrong, but I don't know all that much about diagnosing bass problems. Anyone got any thoughts on what it might be?
