Just trying to find a quick, but definitive answer on this. Are the active MEC Gold jazz bass pickups stacked coil humbuckers, like EMG J-styles, or side by side split coils, like some others? Source(s) for your info? Thanks!

Forgive me but I've done a pretty extensive search through the forums but couldn't come up with an answer. I'm wondering if the MEC pickups in Rockbasses are the same as the ones in the normal Warwicks, or are they made in China? (Specifically older RB Streamer 5 and Corvette Basic 5).
