    Low output from MEC's/replacement options?

    Always had low output from the MEC J pickups on my Fortress 5 string active. I notice in the control cavity, the circuit board has a small screw. Will this adjust the output volume of the active electronics? If not, what's it for? It was never a problem before - I went into a Korg AX30B FX...
