linseed

If you do, do you use **plain linseed oil** or **boiled linseed oil**? The reason why I'm asking is I've heard a conflicting opinion about the type of linseed oil. Some say boiled linseed oil does a better job protecting the wood, but others say plain linseed oil is superior. What's your opinion?
