jan iii nut

Ok I got my new nut...for my nutty Warco...I read the instructions and my big dumb question is, is it easy enough for any one to do? I'm debating doing it myself, cos I wanna learn how to maintain my bass myself or should I be safe and have my teacher do it cos he does repairs all the time...
