A few Thumb questions: 1.) What year did the design of the Thumb bass go from wenge fretboard to ebony? 2.) When did the neck wood change as well? 3.)Didn't the Thumb come with regular bubinga? If so when did it switch to pommele?

So today i was thinking about the inlay i'm putting at the top of my bass when i re-do the headstock. since i love my RockBass for what it is, not for being made by warwick (i also love that), i think i'd like to put RB (in the warwick font) at the top instead of a W (like a regular 'wick)...

I sent an e-mail to Sims Customs to get a quote on how much it would cost to have the headstock re-done with the warwick W on it. if it's less than $100 (plus shipping) i think i'll do it!
