Hello friends. To complement my 5-str Dolphin from '91, I found this '89 fourstringer here in Norway. It has been defretted and the preamp has been changed to Basslines STC-2a (two-band.) It feels very playable and sounds great!! :) Unfortunately the previous owner(s) has not been taking...

I notice that Warwick uses wenge for all their fretted fingerboards, but ebony for their fretless fingerboards. Anyone ever de-fret one of their fretted basses with the wenge board? Any reason wenge would *not* be a good choice for a fretless board? I'm aware of ebony's strengths for a...
