Hey, I just purchased my first 5 string, a BO Thumb, and know nothing about buying strings for a 5 string Warwick. My question is: Is the taper of a D'addario B string long enough for a Warwick? I really like D'addarios and would like to stick with them. Thanks for any respones.

What can you guys tell me about Ernie Ball Nickel Slinkies? And Daddario strings? I haven't changed the strigns on my bass since I got it about 8 months ago. I've read on here that the Black Labels give the famous growl, but I'm turned off by the responses of them being rough on the fingers...
