converting

I am not thrilled about the sound I have been getting from the Vette FNA Jazzman 5. Should I change out the pickups and pre-amp or convert the whole bass to a $$?

Ive had my corvette for about 2 years now and am still completely in love with playing it. After stepping up my amp and playing some more basses with active pickups i just wish i had that sound with the actives. My question is how hard would it be to convert my Corvette from Passive to Active...

Hello Warwick massive, got a question. I have a FNA Jazzman and she is a beauty! (I'll have to post some pics up soon). The Active Seymor Duncan Pre-amp allows me the extra slap contour EQ when I push the volume knob up, however I don't actully feel the need for this and would benefit alot...
