    Profet 5.2 speaker connections

    My 8 ohm cabinets do not have thru connections. Looking at the manual, the speakon and the 1/4 inch jack are in parallel. I assume it's ok to use speakon for one speaker and 1/4 jack for other as long as both are 8 ohm loads, or am I wrong?

    What is the best way to connect head to cabinets? Is this speakon kit just a swick, or has it got merit? Cheers guys.
