    Defective pick-up on my Corvette?

    Have a Corvette Standard 5-string where the previous owner had replaced the MEC PU's by Bartolinis. The bass worked fine until last week. All of a sudden, the neck PU quit it's function. So when I turn the balance pot to the neck direction no sound can be heard. If I turn it to middle position...
