Some videos from my band. I did the first video to get some green screen practise (its 90% all green screen and fake). Great for practise but was a nightmare. Second video the guitarist did for his uni degree (he's doing something on popular music).

Just had my first gig yesterday with Cargo! My s were shaking before the show, but after it started it all came back to me, like riding a bike :) 4 years it was a long break...

My old band Adytum. Album is still due out whenever we get around to it. Great songs, great production, Artwork is done by me. We're just too lazy to finish it plus the band broke up so its no rush.

Gerat to hear your work, guys! I checked out the Desecrated Sphere YouTube channel - very cool that you used a double bass on there, sounded great!

Here's a song from my band's latest output, "Entropic Death" from DISKORD's sophomore album Dystopics:

The album was recorded with a Thumb NT 5 tuned two full steps down (using Circle K Strings). There is also the occasional tidbit from an NS Design electric upright bass.

Since this seems like a thread for shameless self-promotion :)x), I'll include a few quotes from the overwhelmingly positive response that the album has garnered:

Wonderfully avant-garde; utterly fantastic; remarkably unique
- The Metal Advisor (US)

Old school razor-wire riffs [...], wonderful, organic production aesthetics
- Terrorizer Magazine (UK)

Dystopics is a cluster♣♣♣♣ of Gorguts-meets-Atheist rhythms and aggression done in an old-school-meets-new-school manner
- No Clean Singing (US)

The single most relevant death metal album of the new millennium
- Mehta Kya Kehta (India)

That's it, mind-♣♣♣♣ album. go listen!
- Mainstream Music. Not. (Iran)

Feel free to make up your own mind :D

Hmm, can´t mess with that. We started our band last year, only our guitarman really knows his instrument, I am a bloody rookie. But of course we want to improve! Here are our first live performances, just recorded with cams of mobile phones.

We also have an account at Reverbnation and posted our first demo-songs. Like I already said these are the very beginnings. But like Homer Simson knows: Never too old to rock!!!

Any great rock band in the world started the same. Having fun is more important than skills :) Keep up the good work, buddy!

the sound of carbon and composite :)

great thread. like your stuff guys !

i'd like to share with you 2 recordings of my SKC bogart bass.

the first one is just jaming along with a drum machine, in the second part there is some over dubs going on, just chords on the exact same bass.

the second one features a nice play along track from JamTracksChannel.

Here are song snippets from our album 'Destination unknown'. The band is called Elysian Gates. Recordings were done with my Warwick Streamer and an Ampeg SVT2 pro amp / DI signal.

wow, great stuff everyone!
eyvind, i really like your band, but it's too bad youtube messes with the audio quality so much. keep up the great work bro!

recently, i got called up in a very perspective local death metal/deathcore band with big ambitions. most of the guys in the band are veterans (3 of them are very well known on the Serbian (and wider) heavy metal scene, so i'm very happy to be in a band like this. the band has recorded an album already (but i did not play for them at the time), however they did not have a bass player at the time so what's been recorded isn't too close with what i play today. here are some songs, hope you like them! and i'll keep you posted for the new single that i'll play on.

if you like what we do, i'll be very grateful if you liked this page (it gives us a chance to play on a big festival!): https://www.exitmusic.rs/sr/artist/instead-kill
