Why react if you are a righty?

Your post seemed lonely. It needed some company.

I know a few members here are. At least three.
We are but a small community.

I am left handed, but I play right handed.
    Could learn both I guess.

Same here. I wanted to start left handed. My first bass teacher told me that it doesn’t matter because I need both hands anyway. But that it would be easier to find gear. Oh, he was right...

I'm left handed too, but started out on violin when I was a kid. There was no way in hell my teacher would let me play left. She asked me "have you ever seen anyone playing the wrong way in a symphony orchestra?!". I was a kid, and had no idea what a symphony orchestra was, so I didn't object... So, I play the right handed way...

Lefties are often not 100% lefthanded. I draw and write lefthanded, but drill, hammer, cut, play guitar/bass righthanded. I drum lefthanded but rightfooted.

The motor in my left hand is finer, the one in my right hand stronger. I can do a lot of things both left and right handed (like drumming) which I think is a blessing.

I would say the same for some Righties as well, for instance, when younger I played hockey and a few other sports as "lefty". I was "forced" to start writing in school as a righty (this I do remember from when I was 5 years old, the teacher saying something about my writing with my left hand would create a mess on the paper).

Because you are new here and we, "rightys", like to make everyone feel the good vibe zone.

If you prefer we could leave you alone, doing your lefty's stuff, whatever it is...
