Warwick Corvette Custom Shop 6.

Well, after 3 months and 13 gigs I think that I can make a proper review of my Corvette Custom Shop.
First, let's talk about features:
Is a 2 piece Flamed Maple body with nirvana black oil finish. Maybe a wrong choice because I can see stunning flames under the black oil coat, I should have go with a darkened, transparent finish maybe. Anyway I can change the finish in the future.

Neck is Ovangkol with Wenge fingerboard. I've always thought that the WW tone comes from its massive ovangkol/wenge necks...and it confirms my theory, despite using such a powerful electronics like the EMG and a maple body, it still has the disctintive WW tone.

Electronics are a pair of EMG 45DC pickups with a MEC three band pre. I'm just gonna say that is a killer combination. Some of you would think that with that electronics is a bass just for metal....WRONG!!!!! although I play metal in 2 of my three bands, I can play with it pop, jazz, sixties rock, latin jazz etc. just dialing a little its eq.
So, the best word to describe this bass is versatile, it works well whatever I play. It's an authentic workhorse.

I play the bass tuned to A-D-G-C-F-A# with Pyramid Stainless Steel (35-135) strings and the 6th string is awesome, very defined, with the same volume like the others.
