    Hi,
Just picked up a 1048 TE cab 300w 8 ohm for cheap [emoji41]
I already have a gp12smx combo...can i add this new cab to my smx to make a stack? Or isnt there any benefit of doing that?

If the cab is 8 ohms and the internal speaker(s) are too, there should be no problem. Most SMX combos have two 8 ohm speaker outputs.

The benefit in using two 8 ohm cabs is the 4 ohm total load will allow the amp to deliver its full output, and also more drivers means louder.

    Wow.... :D
It was amazing before.., not sure what to say now? This thing rocks!! My Warwick is loving it! And what a difference to get the sound off the floor.
    Thanks for the help guys.

I got a free Series6 gp12 head (on top) with the cab, but the previous owner said there is something wrong with it (low output). Havent tested it yet though, might be an easy fix. I also have a super nice and perfect working gp7 head as a spare and a PPA1200 poweramp....so i guess i should be covered for years
Still looing for more though. Trying to find another 1048T cab, and two 15 or 18" to go with the PPA and different rackmounted TE pre-amps some time in the future. Fulfilling my youth dreams..haha.
