Well, got this off Andrew recently and it’s messing with my tiny four string brain. I thought I could handle it! I will keep trying but I’ve been on a bit of a tear recently buying up Warwicks and the wife noticed, so I agreed to list my most expensive bass for a price I’d be happy with... so here it is! I’m asking AU$4500 for it plus shipping as I’d assume it’s headed overseas which is more than I paid but a price I’d let it go for. That works out to approx 2700 euro or approx 3200 USD.

Pics!

4.5k.

mate, you're giving it away at that price. sad to hear you couldn't tame the B string, you gave it a red hot go though

I have it listed for more elsewhere I should say. I also forgot to mention that Andrew took perfect care of it, and I've only used at home also very carefully so it's still in mint condition. I got that little rechargeable battery problem fixed up too, Warwick sent me a new charger board under warranty and all good now, thanks Warwick for backing your products! I much prefer the sound on rechargeable battery to 9v.

I continue to give it a red hot go as well. I suspect this might be sitting for a while as it's not an everyday bass. I recognise the usefulness of the low B but my lizard brain formed around four strings and I can't seem to shake it easily. I will persist.

depends on who's asking
Try stringing it E-C instead of B-G. I have yet to hear a low B string that sounds appealing. The b string on a conventionally strung 5 string bass is only slightly above the minimum frequency that human ears can discern pitch. The B string does come in handy as you move up the fretboard though....... just not so much in the first position.

That sure is a gorgeous bass though, regardless of how many strings it has.

I think I might be getting the hang of the extra string now, but the string spacing is too tight for me, tightest I can handle is about a Jazz/Streamer 4 and this is even tighter than that... my ideal is in between a P and a J whatever that is.

Just did a setup and truss rod is working smoothly and very effectively on this thin neck.

Also, not sure if this is even possible, but weight clocks in at 4kg on the nose (8.8 lbs for you other lot). My Streamer Stage II four clocks 4.2kg so seems accurate.

Ahh I guess I used the wrong punctuation.

Should have said... congrats, Narcdor?

:oops::(:p

No, all kidding aside, sorry you had to let it go. Someone got a hell of a deal.
