It makes the first-position four fret stretch easier for me. I like medium (32-inch) scale because of that.

I stumbled on this and couldn't resist. I'm a fat neck lover and the figuring is very nice. It's a 2004, kinda heavy (guessing 10.5 lbs) and in great shape. So now I have 2 fretless thumbs. Maybe it's overkill.

Hello Thumbers,

First Warwick, and its a Thumb... may I join?

At the moment I have only this photo, and I have to share it, otherwise the no photo, no bass clause would apply and access wouild be denied, I know :)

2010 BO F Clef Special Edition, ovangkol body and neck, matching headstock with W logo inlay, ebony fretboard with F-Clef inlays, nr 33 out of 34 made. I've only seen these on local sites, so they must've been a custom order of the Hungarian distributor. I've been considering a Warwick for the last year or so, been looking at Corvette $$'s (4 string primarily) and after letting go of a couple of them I realised that I want a 5 string. And then the ad appeared, and I was the fastest one to apply. I couldn't be happier with my choice, it's a really inspiring instrument. Interestingly, this is the second Thumb in my hands, when I first tried one, it did not make an impression, but this time it did.

It's replacing a Sandberg with maple fretboard on which I used Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats, which I liked a lot and they lasted long (for me definitely, bedroom rocker here). Anyone used or tried Cobalt Flats on their Thumbs?

(Edited for typos)

I use Cobalt Flats on my Reverso, they really suit the split coils pretty well.
Lovely Thumb, I wonder how some of you keep finding these gems :)

It is a gem, indeed, thanks for the compliments. At first I thought there are too many F-clefs on the fretboard, but then Darkglass's logo popped in to my mind, and I was sold. So was the bass. To me.

TBH, I had to google what a Reverso is, not quite familiar with the W product line yet, but glad to hear that Cobalt Flats work on a Warwick. I'll give them a try on my Thumb when the next new set is due. Currently it's strung with Elixirs, they feel and sound ok, and I have a set of barely used Roto 55's which will be taken off my other 5 string (and that one will be strung EADGC again).

I just saw this popping up in different online shops. What are your thoughts about the new special edition thumb that seems to come up soon? :O

Love that Hardy, looks a lot nicer then my own BO4. :)
There was a chrome hardware set for sale here last week, that would look dope on this too.
