Actually the SC is light, swamp ash body, bubinga top and a maple neck compared to wenge and solid bubinga like the 6 string. Those are gorgeous. I bet the SC weighs a ton.

Gorgeous ! It’s even older than mine. Sound is indeed immense. Default string spacing is 16,5mm, adjustable from 15,5 to 17,5 (roughly).I guess I am now officially a Thumb-a-holic.. Travelled to London by train on a 7 hour round trip to pick-up this beautiful 1989 NT6.. totally worth it!!
Thats awesome, sounds like I am in good company. Thank you for the string spacing info!Gorgeous ! It’s even older than mine. Sound is indeed immense. Default string spacing is 16,5mm, adjustable from 15,5 to 17,5 (roughly).

It’s a shame that the only piece not made out of wood… is the only one that doesn’t age well !
It does have the brass frets but not the brass JAN (yet).Beautiful! Teambuilt, so it doesnt have the brass frets?
Differences areAh ok, I do get confused with the differences.
Divorce possibly. What’s next on the list?
Well that is wood! It's a thin piece of ebony. It is the newer ones that have plastic instead.Upgraded !

That isn't my bass sorry, I can't help you thereI was just looking at those tuners last night! Are they a straight drop in upgrade chris@Bendorf?
Awesome. Many thanks @kascolletThe RATIO tuners are indeed direct replacement. Great and easy upgrade.
@Chris : I can assure you this is not ebony !
Lovely!Back in the club with a surprisingly fresh ´91 fretless. This thing is heavy as if it was made of stone ! Sound is incredible though.
