That's the one I'm missing
Damn nice!
Absolutly gorgeous !
That's a lovely LX5. Is that a custom shop option? Almost looks like Afzelia! Certainly not the usual flamed maple.Hi all,
A few days ago I picked up a GPS Streamer CV. I replaced the tedur Just-A-Nut III with the brass version and swapped the pickguard. Needless to say, the bass plays great!

I’ve also included a recent photo of my LX5 for the benefit of the ‘Say No to Gold Hardware' Committee .

Tobacco gives the extra roastDat flame, tho...
Hi there. I may be mistaken and somebody else can chime in if I am, but I don't think the Streamer Stage II existed as early as 1986? Three pots is also odd as well for a Streamer. Do you have any photos of this instrument?Hi,
I am currently looking at a seemingly good deal for a 1986 Streamer Stage II. The bass has Alembic branded P/J pickups and only 3 pots. I can't seem to find any information on this configuration. Could anyone provide some insight if these are aftermarket modifications? Also the bass has a battery compartment on the back, so it probably is active. It also still has the horizontal tuners and the one piece bridge.
I guess I should check out the trussrod (and of course play it) before making the deal.
Do you have any other comments or advice?
Thanks!
W

Interesting, you're right - could just be something very early and custom. Will look out for the pics.Serial# is K522 86
So I assumed the 86 stands for 1986.
I will try to post pictures later.
Very nice!!This weekend, I combined a trip to Dresden with picking up this Streamer LX 5 Custom Shop from 2015. Nice AAA flamed maple in antique oil tobacco finish- The custom features seem to be limited to a pretty flat fretboard (47" radius) and the walnut tuners. Hope you like it
