They aren't very a popular model honestly. Even the NT, which isn't that expensive isn't very popular. It is a great bass though, don't understand why...

They are nice basses indeed :) Their look are more appreciated in asia it seems, but I've seen a very sexy nirvana black one. It looks kind of different.

It got a very special shape. It looks like it's made for one purpose: to sit when you play :p

Yeah, I used to have a NT 5 and the tone was AMAZING. It was just uglier than sin. I might end up picking up another one because you can get them dirt cheap used.

I love the look feel and sound of the Katana. I always wondered why it wasn't a more popular model. I've only seen a Katana in person once (it was a NT) and I was this close to buying it. I sat there and played it for about 2 hours. It was used at GC for $1000 and now I'm kicking my own ass for not getting it when I had the chance.

I cant help but think if there were more Katanas in shops, they might be more popular. But the fact of the matter is,there's bugger all.Maybe they're all shipped to Asia.

Thanks a lot !

I think a Katana will be my next purchase, as this bass is the only WW featuring a true neck pickup and a broad spacing between the two.

Can you post some soundclips ??
