I'm posting on this forum to know if you have an idea of the market price for this 2006 Dolphin Pro I 5-string bass with Ovangkol body and neck in very good condition (not much played, some superficial scratches on the back, 2 poc of clear lacquer on the side of the fingerboard).

The green metallic paint is genuine. Hardware and electronics are original too

I'm thinking of putting it up for sale soon. If anyone is interested, please do not hesitate.

I would expect that to sell for between $3-4k usd, but it probably won't sell real fast in the current market environment.

Is that UK Import Tax being the cost concern?

Here in Aotearoa we have to now pay GST 1% on import items over x $ rate and you might need a Customs Import “License “

Hello Saz, Yes now with England outside Europe more complicated. There will be customs fees. Do you ever come to France? I'm in no hurry to sell this bass, it's really magnificent and dates from 1990. Everything is original and I had it recently adjusted by a luthier.

It's possible I could make a trip to collect, would need to assess the options. In the meantime I would like to see some more photos of the bass please, including the control cavity, top of headstock and top of neck where paint seam is visible.
