what year is the buzzard? Killer basses and super RARE!

On another note: The Dolphin was made in February 89; its one of the earliest Dolphins made; the finish is original and it's called : Daphne Blueburst finish (very rare according to Mr. Wilfer!); the bass is from the first batch of Dolphins so the Bridge pickupd can NOT be splitted like in other dolphins; that option came a few months later... I am super happy! THANKS TO ALL!!!

The Buzzard is from 1990 and has never been played as the previous owner was a collector.
I spotted it on the local used market and tipped Hardy. Seller refused to send it to him so I picked it up instead. Now we gotta find a way to get it to his place safely.

For sure. We LOVE pics :)

If I recall correctly, you mentioned you're up to 12 or 13 vintage Wicks now @Eduardo_maynez.

If you have the time, we'd be stoked to see a glorious family photo. And as not to take over the Dolphin thread, feel free to post it here:

MEC TJ/J pickups and 2 band pre.
Had this a few years now, some of you may have seen it for sale. Thought I’d share some pics I’ve found.

Tough one. The grain looks like Ovangkol though. Boire doesn't have that stripey grain.

The old Boire ones had a 7 piece Wengé+Zebrano neck. This one looks like Wengé+Ovangkol.

So the neck laminates and the body grain makes me think Ovangkol+Wengé.

I never saw an ovankol body with a wenge neck!

Usually Warwick would use Ovankol for both neck and body !

Zoomed in on the computer. The neck is Wengé+Zebrano. The bass is likely from somewhere between 1998 and 2002.
