Last night after selling a squier jazzmaster I had for a few years (and used a lot surprisingly) for $300.00 and pocketing $50.00 on a $5.00 scratch off lotto ticket I picked up this 2003 Corvette standard for $360.00! My $$ needed a friend apparently. It needs a good cleanup but otherwise in great shape with no fretwear and had a new set of DR's in the gigbag. Satisfied my GAS and only had to spend $15.00 out of pocket.

Here's a pic of my new-to-me '99 Corvette FNA. Pretty nice instrument, no complaints. I have a thing for gold hardware. :)

That's my 2003 SSII with Nordstrand Big J Blades and 3 band pre w/ passive tone. I really like the pickups. They make the MEC picks sound "two dimensional" in comparison.

My corvette FNA has the basslines pre-amp since it has the slap contour, but what kind of pickup is it? I find the tone a bit too razor like, it cuts through like crazy. That's great and all, but would be nice to have some more subtle tones. My pickup isn't marked on the cover, so I have no idea. I guess I could remove it, but figured I'd ask first. Anybody tried any other pickup in their FNA?

Had a request for an extension to fit flush mount strap locks.
As I don't have a bass with these I've based this on a Dunlop strap lock as I know they fit.
A longer screw will be required for this to work.

I just ordered it this morning. I talked to the guy at GC yesterday and he said it has a few wear marks but it looked pretty good.

Ive been itching for one for a few months now since I tried one a while back.

I sold my Spector Legend a week ago.....so it was "game on" for the Vette. And for $700.00 I thought that was pretty good
