While the subject matter is not earth shaking, I do find the lighting giving a certain surrealistic, almost painted look to this photo I snapped from inside the companionway one night last week-

So that was my buddy’s boat and he asked me to help him get it back to Kemah after doing the Great Loop up the eastern seaboard and through the Great Lakes- we should be back home around October 27th.

Ohh B29 nice. Was going to go to a show a few months ago and catch a ride in a B-17. That same plane crashed a few weeks ago, killed 7 people! :( Guess it is hard to expect a 75 year old plane to not have issues.

I seen that on the news...….I actually thought about taking one of those tours myself. They are kind of spendy but it looks like it'd be a lot of fun

But yeah, the wreckage of that plane was pretty bad. I think it completely tore off the nose......not good

Yes, sad lose of life and that historic plane.
