this is a reincarnation of the original group I started that seemed to not make it very far. If you like nuts (NHS), play a P-Nut bass or intend to be getting one, post here!

I will post a pic of my twin beauties soon enough once I move house.

Can this get a sticky by chance?

who will be the first with a P-Nut III ?? :))
apart from P-Nut,-)

I am trying to do something fun: track down all of the original Pnut's and see where they all are.
I have #14 and live in Indiana.
I wonder how many are in the U.S. and where all the rest are.
So if you are an original Pnut 1 ownwer chime in, lets see where the originals are!

Hi Guys,

I'm not really one for posting, but as you asked, P-Nut 1 number 39 is in Glasgow, Scotland.

I watched an interview with him last night and he said originally he wanted a bass made out of all purple heart. But warwick said it probably wouldn't come through the process as something he would want to play. So they started over and came up with the P Nut I.

Fisher:

Post some pics of your baby, please!!

Paperbag:

Yeah, I remember that interview. Had to settle for the middle piece. Do you remember a member on here, ordered a custom Thumb, short scale I think, and at least the top was purple heart, maybe the entire body.....then I think he wanted to sell it!

iirc,it was a solid purpleheart body.Maybe not.
It's possible to get the required purpleheart to do one bass, but a run of 50 might be more difficult.;)

There is a P-nut 1 for sale on guitar center's web site. I looks fairly good but there is only one picture. They have 3900.00 US on it. If you want to see it click on used
then type in Warwick p-nut. I was thinking of calling them to find out what number it is. For them to have it someone must of traded it in on something...I wonder what they gave the guy for it if they are selling it for 3900? Probably 1500 or so...
