No need for a sticky, but since there are so many different $$ models, I was curious what the forum distribution looks like...

I've got two Corvette $$'s

Is it sad that I named them?
My logic is once you name them you can never sell them... anyway:

The Leviathan:
Four String Corvette $$ Bolt On (Nirvana Black)
Which I tune B.D.A.D

I don't have any photos yet :(

The Tempest:
Five String Corvette $$ Neck Thru (Turquoise)
B.E.A.D.G

Not serious about a club stickie ?

I was thinking it made sense. I think
lotsa $$'ers see their $$ ax as primarily
a $$, and then as Vett, or Streamer, or
whatever, as secondary. The forum gets
plenty of discussion about the $$ config
as an entity unto itself, with it's own
particular concerns: muddiness, room
to slap, slap tone, PU spacing, the new
$$ PU location vs the old .... etc.

There's already one 'techie' thread that
can be transferred to a $$ stickie, as a
kick-off for the "club": http://forum.warwick.de/10-warwick-basses/8518-pu-posture.html

I can appreciate that logic, actually.

My (funny) story. Jokingly, my wife told me now that I'm married my basses should have male names. So it's been 'Moe' and 'Bubba' - as in, Moe-hogany and Bubba-inga. I guess it could have been 'Annie' and 'Inga', as in mahog-Annie and bub-Inga. Okay, I'm totally rambling here... :x

Hawg Annie !!

I know her.

Got exhaust pipe burns and 6-color tats !

Inga ?

Never met her, but if she's Hawg Annie's
strap-on closet mate, well then ........

I have no knowledge and therefore no control over what my Warwicks do when I'm not in the room... :p

I'm just glad you reference the female names instead of, well, you know...

Man, somehow I missed golem's post on this. If the powers that be, want it to be so, well, then that's all the better... 8:
