The craftmanship is astounding, of course, but I also praise the creativity of Hardy's brain (with the help of DiMarco for the headstock), to create such things.
Not to mention the painstaking hard work done and financial engieering to get the money. :)
I am, truly, admirative for this type of dedication and patience in order to get this bass done.

Just two or three more weeks from now! :p The painting now has shadows. Marcus means it still could need some details. We are talking about it atm.

The area at the rear lower horn looks too clean. But there will be the control knobs. I didn´t ask so far, but did they forget to spare them out? The front knob has its hole as you can see. Would be some red domes fine for the controls?

Can´t stop grinning!

More and more details will follow. The bird is growing so slowly but this gives me the time to think about every single step. Two years ago I stood with Marco and the painter infront of that wall and we discussed the idea. Even if it takes another 6 months to finish it, I became patient and I enjoy every step of progress!
