    It came today. Sorry for the REALLY bad pictures. I'll try and get some better ones tomorrow.
    Looks fantastic, almost like antique tobacco colour. As for the tone, wow. So many different sounds but growls like a Thumb on steroids.

    I believe this was "cheap", because just of the different body wood.
    Under 1500 EU my guess. (We could start a thread : Guess my CS Price :D )

    Actually it was REALLY cheap for a CS. I did shop around a bit for a good price though.

    I don't know if the exchange rate makes much difference as it was bought with ££ but somewhere around 1200 euros :wink:

    Much difference to a Bubinga body?

    Tiny bit less.
    Sound wise I believe Ovangkol has very similar properties to Bubinga and sounds about the same. (This isn't first hand experience though) It cetainly sounds a lot more growly and middy than the stock Swamp Ash.

    That's the Warwick growl right ?? Wenge, Ovangkol and Bubinga (slightly brighter than Ovangkol I thought....)...........
