Something you might want to check out. Multi-effects unit, supposed to be around $400 US. Just came out but looks pretty impressive. HIGHLY Programmable, geared toward guitar but hmm, aren't bass guitars GUITARS??
Just discovered this but it looks pretty impressive at first look.

Peace and BUU---ACE! (pronounced BASS but stretched a bit. Cheers my demented little monkeys.

Looks sweeeeet! Not clear wether the 'pedals' are full size or if this is another of those downscaled mini things (I sold my Tech21 Fly rig because it is just too tiny to use).
You can plug in your own overdrive or fuzz pedal and switch it on/off from the Plethora too, which is a nice feat.

It looks like very mini and difficult to use standing upright, like the Tech21 bass fly rig and you risk triggering several effects at the same time. But, unlike the bass fly rig it seems that we can save presets and recall them quite easily.
