Streamer Pre-amp Help Needed

    I bought a second hand Streamer from several weeks ago, and have used it quite merrily on several occasions. I thought I'd treat it to a new 9v battery yesterday, and went to disconnect the old battery when....disaster!! The two wires from the battery clip had come away from the pcb. I'm not ham-fisted and was being gentle, but to no avail.

    I've posted a picture of my powerless pcb; can anyone advise where the black and red battery wires do belong on the pcb? I'm sure it's on the left, by the diode, but which holes and which way round?
