I recently bought a set of Warwick brand strap locks, just to find the screws are too small. Does anyone know a set of strap locks that take the Warwick's large sized screw? Before anyone comments about drilling new holes, I do not want to do that. This bass has sentimental value and is very rare and I do not want to go drilling new holes.

The original screw size is 4.40mm
There is a chance that the original strap locks are Schaller. So if your new screws are too small (or too thin) you want to take a tooth pick, length of the screw and 1/4 or 1/2 of the diameter. That should work.

I got these for my W made Sadowsky. The pins themselves are BIG screws and can be driven in with an allen key.
Had to use quite some force to get them in. The original (Warwick?) straplocks are the worst on the planet with teeny tiny screws.

The Warwick strap locks I bought fit on a guitar I own. Problem is one screw snapped and the lock itself wasn't "locking"
