Turns out it's from Australia. It's 220-240 volts instead of 120 volts. Any ideas how to remedy the problem. Is it possible to change out power supply?
    Or any other ideas?
    TIA

Take it back to where you got it.

That answer may be a bit harsh. But I agree, the BC20 is a nice small amp, but it’s not worth any trouble.

You could get a step up transformer but it would likely cost half what you paid for the amp.

I’m in Australia you could send it back to me. I’ll give it back to the guy you bought it off we all know each other here.

The reviews on it are great. And it's better than what I have. At least if I can get it going. Lol

The alternative is to throw it away and it's worth more than that.

It is a unit that's screwed into the back of the cabinet.
I just expect this unit to be either not sold separately or set you back almost the full price of a whole BC20.

This is why I first said: take it back to the seller.

Oh right it’s only drawing 40 watts, you can get a 100w step up transformer here for AU$35, less in the US I suspect, and they’re not that heavy being low wattage so you could just secure to the amp itself. The one I found was 1.7kg for example.

I may be wrong, but sometimes it is the same thing inside, and with a change in wiring you can change the voltage. I remember a tech friend of mine did that with an amp once.
