Which one is new?

The Steamhammer moved in a few days ago. I am gonna buy a pair of Glockenklang Quattro or even Take Five (I prefer carpet on my caps over tolex) cabs for it, as soon as possible.

The Steamhammer is quite a nice amp, my old bass teacher had one. I actually dislike the lettering of it, but the electronics are nice.

That's a point! I'll consider this thou I think this won't be a problem, at least i hope so cause my FMC cabs have carpet as well....

Tolex would reqiure a case if I need to drive them around. But it's likely they won't be drivin around at all.

Jep go for carpet. It is way more handy. Tolex is boxes at home and not for the rehearsal room.

My Henry the 8x8 has rat fur and that's ok. The Barefaced Big Twin has this very hard lacquer that seems indestructable. Trace Elliot amps tolex.

When any of it gets scratched or bruised that's MOJO.

Finally got my hellborg leds fixed today. Three out of the eighteen were dead. Now its good as new. Here's some pics of inside the preamp. And then back in its rack.

Great images of an excellent designed preamp! Never experienced issues with those leds but would prefer less bright colored ones. And I think the unit should have a higher output level. Not sure if this is somewhere adjustable inside..

Channelling my inner Anthony Jackson by using two high power 15" PA boxes for bass amp last night.

Waiting on my new cab from barefaced so used this with my Demeter head as pre amp into two QSC KW152 boxes for jam night.

Sounded good but would not do again as heavy. Interesting experiment though.

Super tiny rig. Picked this up tonight. Nice little set up for the lounge.

First outing with my big twin. Really like it. Well balanced, light and powerful. Whats not to like.

My Hellborg pre and amp sound pretty special with my new big twin
Cab. Might use this for jam night this week.

Big Twin II Gen3 conveys amps and basses very well.
Of course one can expect or even demand this from a cab at this price level.

Still, it is great. The midrange is just so clear and the hf unit never sounds hyped.
I love mine to bits.
