Massive tone no doubt. The midrange of 15" sits very nice in mixes.

Nice to see an Ampeg rig again! I had exactly the same combination of cabs and a SVT CL amp.

Right now I'm mainly using the Mesa D-800 with the Ampeg cabs, buts seriously? Nothing beats that Ampeg tube sound, that tone and bite is just amazing. I didn't use any pedals for my sound when I was using the Ampegs, but when I start using the Mesa I had to buy a VT Bass D.I. pedal to give me something like the Ampeg bite! :p

Got the Genzler stuff today. Had some fun for an hour or so, can’t wait for the weekend to play like crazy.

Just picked up a second Headliner 210. My original thought on these cabs was for them to be my backups to my Hydrives, but they sound so good they maybe my go to's now.......at 55 lbs a piece they are little on the heavy side, but may be worth the effort to haul em`' around

Beverages on amps aren't so bad. Shirts thrown on top of tube amps behind your back are. When you remove them now smelling of burn something in your head snaps.

Do you know how these pics happen? All is ready on stage for the gig and me thinks „Let’s make a pic!“. So I place my beer on the amp, get the phone out of the pocket, make the photo, phone back into the pocket, beer in hand. During the gig I have my beverages in front of me. Often enough the amp is a bit out of reach because it shall not entertain my knees but my ears. Last Saturday for example when I made this pic the stack stood on the other side of the drums. But since I know that I can shock bass mates with those pics I continue making them! :p
