    I tried one of those Quad VI through a Marchall 410 a few months ago. Helluva punch!

    I've heard that there is a difference in tone between the GS and the DB but I've never had the chance to A/B the different cabs so I can't comment really. My DB cabs (one of which HAS a tweeter btw) just give me loads of old school punch (hardly the most technical description I know :lol:) and have a nice full timbre which I was finding a bit lacking in some of the NEO equipped cabs I've had of late.

    I can't praise these cabs highly enough and though I'd love to shave a couple of kg off each, I'd not sacrifice tone for the weight loss. I'm not struck on the single strap handle but I'm lead to believe that cutting big holes in the sides of cabs to mount recess bar handles affects the tone... fair does I'll live with these handles. ;)
