It seems Phil X has moved from Framus to Gibson: NAMM 2020: Has Phil X joined Gibson? | Guitar World

Looking on the Framus XG guitars on www.framus.de, the word "Phil" has been removed from all of them. For instance, what was the "Phil XG Signature" is now called an "S 370 XG Signature", or simply the "S 370 XG" for the teambuilt models.

to be honest, I never really liked the looks for the Framus "XG".. I look like an ersatz SG that melted... Or even one of the cheap "SG shaped guitars" from Asian manufacturers.

The bad thing is that I pay all those artists every time I order a Custom Shop for a small or even not so small fortune. Two years later they move on, declaring that Gibson or Ibanez is the greatest company there is after two years of praising Framus & Warwick.
