Hey gentlemen
I’ve been reading so many good threads on the forums and found one in particular discussing the fixing of a crack in a bass body using super glue.
I have stupidly forgotten where the post is and the members who posted so can anyone help please?
Basically I’d like to repair a crack in the body ( not a bad one . I’ve posted a pic)using the super glue method as it were but I’m a bit unsure about the sanding of the glue when its wet?
Can someone point me in the right direction please?

You can sand superglue once it's hard after 20-30 mins. Otherwise you'll make a big mess. Afterwards some waxing/polishing. If you try this on the bass on the picture, I would take the neck off.

Thank you BrusselsBass.
I will remove the neck as you advise and go from there

Repaired and reassembled. I also found the article I was reading and it was actually about refinishing the wood ( oil slurry sanding) and not glue! Must be old age creeping up on me

I think that’s the one that popped up in my search before I began to read the refinishing one with the wet sanding oil finish. Really regretting not book marking it as it was exactly what I was looking for
