    Hi!

Good luck and success with the project!

I own a Framus Junior bass. Nothing special. At a party all parts where stolen but the body, neck and machine heads. I couldn´t find any of the stolen parts separately. So I installed a different bridge, new electronics, a Fender Jazz Bass noiseless pickup, a friend cut a new pickguard. I really would like to swap back to the original parts, but I do not know any source for these. That´s why I wished good luck.

    Hallo Banditolino,
This Bass guitar is the Framus Folkore Acustic bass, the model number is 08790 in nature lacquering. The instrument is from the begin of the 80´s. The top is spruce massiv, back and sides are laminated wood. The fingerboards is maple. The instrument is in original condition and also good, how I can see. Here the same bass fro our website:

    Hallo Florin,

Fred Wilfer found 1976 an new factory under the name of his wife, the label Framus for the instruments is the same as before. The brand has the Name Framus-Wilfer KG and manufctured instruments to 1981. This Folklore acoustic bass is from this time. Fred Wilfer was also the manager for the business.
