    Hello,
    I am looking to buy a Warwick Rockbass Corvette $$ 5 (fretted or fretless).

    https://www.thomann.de/intl/warwick_rb_corvette_5_bk_hp.htm

    https://www.thomann.de/intl/warwick_rb_corvette_5_bk_hp.htm

    I can not find in the user manual any information about their knobs.

    Thomann says that for the fretless version, the volume knob is a push/pull for series/parallel pickups, but no info about it on the fretted version.

    Does anyone has those basses and could tell me what are their knobs for?

    Thanks!

    Hello, and welcome to the forum! The knobs should be volume, pickup blend, bass boost/cut, treble boost/cut. To be honest it's the first time I see the knobs not in-line on a Corvette body.

    Edit: It's possible that this is a volume/volume/bass/treble setup, with the two volume knobs being push/pull pots for switching between series/parallel mode. May I ask why do you ask about the knobs' functions? The necessary functionality will be on the bass in any case.

    Exactly, looks like a RB Streamer.
    I'll keep searching for more info about those knobs. But Thanks!

    @jester Just got an answer from Warwick:

    The Rockbass $$ models all have the same pot functions regardless of fretted or fretless. All instruments produced from mid July 2018 ongoing have the following setup:

    => volume/balance/treble/bass – no push/pull or anything else

    If you are buying an instrument made before this date, it has a passive electronic.
    The setup is:

    => volume(push/pull)/volume(push/pull)/ tone – push/pull is for switching series/parallel

    Stainless and jester like this.

    Very informative and comprehensive answer dare I say. It's possible you can install series/parallel switches with those pickups IF they are humbuckers that have 4 conductors. Although with a 4 in line knob layout switch installation would be much easier.
