Thanks,I will check it out...can't read German but I will try. Apparently Henry scooped the one I was taking to long to figure out shipping details for....it's a beauty and sold undervalue in my opinion. I remember when they were sold new in shops and cost more. You'd think the price would go up now being rare and all, rather than seen as an "old used bass".

I looked at the add on ebay and it shows the price, pictures and description but I could not see any "offers" or "purchase now" option, like normal ebay pages have....??
I also sent a message to the seller but of course it was in English and will probably be ignored....any suggestions?

I can write him if he doesn’t react. These are really simple offers and you write a message to the seller.

Id say they sold it to you, then someone walked in the store and said "ill buy it now, here is the cash" and they took it, they dont care, they want the bass sold and sold it there and then. I doubt there is any rule or consumer law they need to abide by. (Hardy) :p?

    Sux tho..

They have made two contracts. You now could demand compensation.

I'm happy to announce that my broadneck LX 5 has finally shipped. Not sure when it will arrive yet, but I'm guessing Monday. I also paid substantially less than I was going to pay Guitar Center which takes some of the sting out of the botched transaction with them.

Well did it arrive yet? What's the neck like? I read somewhere that all broadnecks are much thinner than standard necks? True??

Well, here it is! I'm kinda shocked at it's awesomeness.

The neck is NOT super thin, but not too thick. I don't have any other 5 string Warwick's to compare it to but I would guess it's not far off from a 2000's Thumb BO 5 in terms of thickness. I'll clean it up tonight as it is covered in dust at the moment.

Yeah, it is really nice. I gave it a little attention last night and got the majority of the gunk off it. Put on a fresh set of Ernie Ball Super Slinky's and gave it a whirl. Really happy with this one. Will go in the "do not sell" stack. I made a quick and dirty video for a friend of mine but I'll post it here. Nothing fancy, bass is going direct with no processing at all. I did boost the bass a little with the onboard EQ and panned between the front and back PU's a little. Other than that it's just noodling.
