Congratulations! My son just turned 6 months today, so the lack of sleep is still fresh in my mind (he's our first as well). It's great right from the start, but it only gets better (at least up until 6 months, obviously can't speak for past that age). Once he starts babbling and moving and holding himself up, it's just the greatest thing.
