Well i found out i need to replace the input no big deal , but im not way happy with my bridge it looks like it has never been cleaned and has some rusty spots , i was wondering if the new two peice bridge would fit and if i would have to redrill or refinish the body in any way .
And im looking for a truss rod cover

    1. to put on the 2 piece Bridge you must have luthier skill and at minimum a Router...the 2 pieces must be sunk in the Body, so it needs to rework a lot to make the caverns.

2, rusty Bridges: solution a) Never Dull and give a good rub solution b) put the bridge in a glass or something else that would fit and sunk it in Coca Cola/Pepsi for overnight, rinse after with clear water.....then you can rub/polish it with normal car polish and the rusty spots are gone

Thanks , ive been a carpenter most of my life so. Im good with a tape and router , but not sure if i want to do the two peice now , wouldnt the hole effect tone since you are removing mass or would the bridge itself compensate for this?

in question of mass it would be the same after changing.. in question of tone, i cant help you, because i own only Rockbasses with the 1 piece bridge...
dont forget, that you must cover/refill the old 4 holes, because the 2 piece bridge has other points to joint in

personally i dont think that a newer RB with 2 piece Bridge and "W"-Logo on Headstock sounds notable better as the older RB with 1 piece Bridge and Rockbass-Logo :D

...and even the 2 thin ekanga-Verneerlayers in the neck dont change as much the tone as solid maple... i think the ekanga layers are only visually things

Couldn't find this thread earlier, anyways, I've been gone from the forum for awhile and therefore had to create a new user ID. I'm glad to be back to Warwick and the forum!

    Hi all,

    I'm Scott and I'm on my 7th Warwick. Over the years I've had a 1987 Thumb NT, 2 Thumb BO's, 3 Corvettes and a Streamer Pro M.

Currently playing an '06 Thumb BO and a '98 Corvette ProLine. The Corvette has the sexiest neck of any bass I have ever played.
